In addition to a seed round for StartUp Health portfolio company Salvo Health, London-based Cera raised big money for their telehealth platform. Rounds also went to rural healthcare provider Homeward, administrative platform Annexus Health, sensor developer Sibel Health, and more.

This week, our team saw more than $485M in health innovation funding reported, including $10.5M to launch StartUp Health portfolio company Salvo Health, a digital gastrointestinal care startup. The seed round was led by Threshold Ventures, with participation from Torch Capital and Felicis Ventures. <source>

Other recent deals included:

Cera, a London, UK-based platform that combines technology with a community of professional carers and nurses to empower people to receive healthcare at home, raised £260M ($320M) in an equity and debt financing round, split roughly 50/50. The equity round was led by Kairos HQ, with participation from the Vanderbilt University Endowment, Schroders Capital, Jane Street Capital, Yabeo Capital, Squarepoint Capital, Guinness Asset Management, Oltre Impact, 8090 Partners, technology investor Robin Klein, and others. The debt partner is undisclosed. <source>

Homeward, a San Francisco, CA-based tech-driven care provider for rural communities, raised $50M co-led by ARCH Venture Partners and Human Capital, with participation from General Catalyst, Lee Shapiro, and Glen Tullman. <source>

Annexus Health, a Sewickley, PA-based health tech company that reduces the administrative burden on physicians and health systems, raised $33M led by Transformation Capital. <source>

Sibel Health, a Niles, IL-based bio-integrated sensor developer, raised $33M led by the Steele Foundation for Hope. <source>

Materna Medical, a Mountain View, CA-based OB-GYN startup focused on pelvic care for prenatal and postpartum patients, raised $22M from undisclosed investors. <source>

Atropos Health, a Palo Alto, CA-based developer of a physician consultation service at the point of care, raised $14M led by Breyer Capital, with participation from Emerson Collective and Boston Millennia Partners. <source>

Carefeed, a Cincinnati, OH-based provider of senior care digital communication solutions, raised $3M led by Reformation Partners, with participation from Allos Ventures and M25. <source>
