This week’s announced health innovation funding included $1.5M for Perceiv AI, a Montreal, Québec-based StartUp Health portfolio company on a mission to optimize and de-risk clinical trials for degenerative brain disorders and empower earlier patient diagnoses and interventions in the clinic. The round was composed of strategic and institutional investors from Canada and the US, including CABHI (Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation), Plug and Play Ventures, Boreal Ventures, IKJ Capital, Red Abbey Labs, Investissement Québec, and angel investors. <source>

Lokavant, a New York, NY-based clinical trial intelligence company, raised $21M led by Edison Partners, with participation from Roivant Sciences. <source>

Sonde Health, a Boston, MA-based startup developing a voice technology platform to detect various health conditions from biomarkers in a person’s voice, raised $19.25M led by Partners Investment, with participation from KT Corporation, NEOM Company, PureTech Health, and M Ventures. <source>

Ubie, a Tokyo, Japan-based startup providing an AI-powered symptom checker app and hospital SaaS products, raised $19M from Sogo Medical, AAIC Investment, Japan Impact Investment, Rakuten Capital, Shoko Chukin Bank, Japan Finance Corporation, and Mizuho Bank. <source>

Alio, a San Francisco, CA-based remote monitoring system for chronic conditions, raised $18M led by the Widjaja Family Investment Office, with participation from Chase Field and Thomas Krebs. <source>

OMNY Health, an Atlanta, GA-based developer of compliant data and platform solutions for connecting healthcare stakeholders, raised $17M led by Chicago Pacific Founders (CPF). <source>

Cardiosense, a Chicago, IL-based digital health company building an AI platform to detect and manage cardiac disease, raised $15.1M co-led by Broadview Ventures and Hatteras Venture Partners, with participation from Laerdal Million Lives Fund, OSF Ventures, UnityPoint Health Ventures, and Portal Innovations. <source>

Juno Medical, a New York, NY-based tech-enabled healthcare service provider, raised $12M co-led by NEXT VENTURES and Serena Ventures, with participation from Vast Ventures, Empire State Development’s New York Ventures, TXV Partners, Genius Guild, Gaingels, Atento Capital, and Humbition. <source>

Pebble, a Seattle, WA-based company using AI to provide better, smarter, and more comprehensive health benefits plans to startups, raised $12M led by XYZ Venture Capital, with participation from Founders’ Co-op. <source>

Vevo Therapeutics, a San Francisco, CA-based biotechnology company, raised $12M led by Wing Venture Capital and General Catalyst, with participation from Mubadala Capital, AIX Ventures, and Camford Capital. <source>

SaVia Health, a Salt Lake City, UT-based clinical healthcare SaaS company, raised $8.5M led by Intel Capital, with participation from Kickstart, Peterson Ventures, Tom Burton, and Dr. Brent James. <source>

CrowdHealth, an Austin, TX-based company that offers a way to use and pay for healthcare services outside of health insurance, raised $6M led by Next Coast Ventures and Activate Venture Partners. <source>

Turtle Health, a Boston, MA-based virtual fertility counseling clinic, raised $5M from Switch Ventures, Blue Seed Collective, NextGen Venture Partners, Mayo Clinic Ventures, and US Fertility. <source>

WeWALK, a London, UK-based startup developing a “smart cane” for visually impaired people, raised £2M ($2.4M) from Manchester City and İlkay Gündoğan. <source>
