Thousands of users are already using Cognishape as an app or extension to a messaging service to help older adults with their cognitive abilities. The StartUp Health portfolio company is focusing on clinical validation and striving to obtain FDA approval as a Digital Therapeutics (DTx) for preventing cognitive decline and reducing the risk of dementia. This will mark a leap in the treatment and prevention of cognitive decline, as no proven solution exists to date.

Docquity, a Singapore-based community for healthcare professionals, raised $44M led by Itochu Corporation, with participation from iGlobe Partners, Alkemi, Global Brain, KDV, and Infocom. <source>

MedMinder, a Needham, MA-based provider of connected pharmacy care for polypharmacy and senior patients, raised $35M led by SWK Holdings Corporation and Accelmed Partners. <source>

98point6, a Seattle, WA-based virtual care delivery platform, raised $20M from L Catterton and Activant Capital. <source>

Apricity, a London, UK-based virtual fertility clinic, raised €17M ($16.91M), led by MTIP, with participation from Iris Ventures. <source>

CuriMeta, a Boston, MA-based real-world health data company, raised $6M led by BJC Healthcare and WashU Medicine. <source>

Hexarad, a London, UK-based radiology optimisation startup, raised £4.5M ($5.18M) led by Foresight Group, with participation from angel investors. <source>

Klar Smile, an Indonesian oral care startup, raised $4.5M co-led by AC Ventures and East Ventures, with participation from Venturra Discovery and several angel investors. <source>

AESOP Technology, a Taiwan- and San Francisco, CA-based AI startup focused on medical and billing errors, raised $2.95M led by Taiwania Capital, with participation from Colopl Next, 500 Startups, and BE Capital. <source>

PsycApps, a London, UK-based developer of an evidence-based mental health game for teens and young adults, raised £1.5M ($1.73M) led by Morningside Ventures. <source>

xWave Technologies, a Dublin, Ireland-based developer of a smart radiology referral platform, raised €1.3M ($1.5M) from Enterprise Ireland and private investors. <source>

Thalamos, a London, UK-based provider of a platform digitizing the forms required for the Mental Health Act, raised $1M from Ascension’s Conduit Impact EIS Fund, angels including Syndicate Room, and investors from a private Seedrs crowdfund. <source>
