These include their virtual reality modules that make it easier for patients on dialysis to transition to at-home care, which improves satisfaction while lowering costs. BioticsAI CEO & Co-founder Robhy Bustami explained why he stepped away from a successful career in computer vision to upgrade second trimester ultrasound. One big reason? There simply aren’t enough OBGYNs and ultrasound professionals in the US (or world) to care for the number of women giving birth. His startup uses artificial intelligence to help doctors and ultrasound techs identify fetal abnormalities and then document them quickly and accurately.
